The idea

A season,
chosen by you.

Seven sculptural seeds stand before a broad ivory field. A concealed moving light is intended to enlarge their shadows into an orchard that slowly changes across the surface.

All four seasonal sets are included: Germination, Canopy, Dispersal and Rest. Each contains seven forms. Change the set to choose another season, with the unused forms kept in a fitted case. The shadow composition and movement remain to be tested.

Materials and proposed dimensions

Saffron polymer forms on metal stems, an ivory coated metal field and a bronze-toned shelf with a concealed light and drive.

Rounded seed forms and a quiet pale field are intended to hold two compositions: the objects and their shadows.

Edition and certificate intent

We intend a continuing collection, with an individual serial number for each work. No fixed edition limit is proposed.

Our intended process includes a signature and serial mark on the object, matched to a signed certificate recording its title, date, materials, dimensions and edition status.

Final marking and certificate details will be confirmed before release.

Care and placement

For a substantial indoor wall, using the supplied light. Mounting, electrical, thermal and moving-part safety require assessment before delivery. Seasonal changes and access will be qualified on the finished work.

For indoor display, away from direct sun, heat and damp. Dust with a clean, soft brush. Avoid solvents, abrasives and polishing compounds.

Final care instructions will accompany the finished work.

This concept is intended to be made to order, delivered and installed by arrangement. Final specifications and logistics will be agreed at conversion to a dated order. Freight, crating and installation are quoted separately.
