The idea

A moment,
held in sound.

An ivory canopy shelters an open space. Most of the day, its curved channel is empty. At a chosen time, a small sphere is intended to cross the roof and strike a concealed bronze bar once.

A powered timer and concealed lift are proposed to prepare the same sphere for the next day. The note comes from a physical strike. Its sound, timing and quiet return remain to be developed.

Concept render. The single note, timed release, return mechanism and safety remain to be tested. No release date is set.

Approx. 920 W × 840 H × 460 D mm

Proposed dimensions, given as width, height and depth. Final dimensions and weight will be confirmed with the finished work.

Edition and certificate intent

We intend a continuing collection, with an individual serial number for each work. No fixed edition limit is proposed.

Our intended process includes a signature and serial mark on the object, matched to a signed certificate recording its title, date, materials, dimensions and edition status.

Final marking and certificate details will be confirmed before release.

Care and placement

For a level indoor floor outside walking paths. This is a sculpture, not a seat or table. Stability, guarding, electrical safety and the complete mechanism require independent assessment before delivery.

For indoor display, away from direct sun, heat and damp. Dust with a clean, soft brush. Avoid solvents, abrasives and polishing compounds.

Final care instructions will accompany the finished work.
