The idea

Two objects.
A shared companion.

Each person keeps a complete abstract sculpture. When the two meet at their shared mirror, their reflections are intended to suggest an original creature between them.

A second arrangement proposes another quiet companion from the same forms. Neither object is a broken half. The mirror relationship and viewing range remain to be tested on a physical study.

Concept render. The shared creature, viewing range and protective cases will be assessed on a physical study.

Designed in house.
Made in our studio.
Finished by hand.

Our intended process. No physical piece exists yet.

Materials and proposed dimensions

Celadon and oxblood polymer bodies, bronze-toned feet and a shared optical mirror in a metal frame. Two fitted cases are included. If the work is made, two insured deliveries in the contiguous US are included in the set price. International delivery requires a separate quote.

Broad satin bodies and open spaces give each sculpture its own presence, together or apart.

Approx. 420 W × 240 H × 190 D mm, reunited

Proposed dimensions, given as width, height and depth. Final dimensions and weight will be confirmed with the finished work.

Edition and certificate intent

We intend a continuing collection, with an individual serial number for each work. No fixed edition limit is proposed.

Our intended process includes a signature and serial mark on the object, matched to a signed certificate recording its title, date, materials, dimensions and edition status.

Final marking and certificate details will be confirmed before release.

Care and placement

For a stable indoor table, away from edges. Mirror protection, docking, handling and packing remain to be assessed. This is a display work, not a toy.

For indoor display, away from direct sun, heat and damp. Dust with a clean, soft brush. Avoid solvents, abrasives and polishing compounds.

Final care instructions will accompany the finished work.
